A key component in the growth of the operation has been the success enjoyed by horses purchased by George, combined with the ability to attract a wide range of owners.
Horses can be owned outright, in a partnership or with a smaller stake as part of a syndicate. George’s 1000 Guineas winner, CACHET is owned by one of the renowned Highclere Racing syndicates, while VIA SISTINA, winner of both the Pretty Polly and Dahlia Stakes, is in the sole ownership of Mrs R G Hillen.
"Many of my horses are bought on spec, which can be challenging, but for us to have bought them it shows we really believe in the horse and then owners can take them on and hopefully have some fun."
Horses For Sale
Whether it be sole ownership, a partnership or as part of a syndicate, George is happy to discuss all options with potential owners to see what would suit them best.
George is active at the sales throughout the year, from the yearling sales in autumn through to the horses-in-training sales. George works closely with Sam Haggas of Hurworth Bloodstock and together they have purchased several notable horses in training, including 2022 Royal Ascot winners MISSED THE CUT and INVER PARK.
"I owe a lot to Sam Haggas. He does a lot of work behind the scenes. He has a fantastic brain for finding horses in training and we've been very lucky that we've found a few good ones."
